This unique folding screen was inspired by
the beautiful scenery surrounding Lake
Powell on the Arizona/Utah border. Made of
African Mahogany (frame and "stone"),
Curly Maple (clouds) and Zebrawood
(mesas).
The "water" is depicted by a hand-dyed silk
fabric made by Joan Scott which gives the
piece a undulating quality. The hinges are
handcrafted from birch plywood to fit the
rounded shape of the frame.
